The strength properties of aluminum alloys can be enhanced specifically by heat treatment. For this purpose, the parts undergo a three-stage hardening process: by perfectly matching the individual steps solution annealing, quenching and aging the aluminum casting obtains better structural strength.

For this heat treatment, a crucible furnace and an aging furnace of 1200x800x800 mm capacity each are available.
